Why teach?

Why do people choose to teach? there are many different reasons that someone might choose to educate others in the world.  I would say that the most popular reason people choose to teach is to inspire the young people of today.  There are other reasons of course that people choose teaching as their profession.  It is a great schedule for those who want to raise a family of their own as they get the same vacations as their children.  Also as a teacher you get to have some sort of independence in what you do each day.  Of course you have to follow the states curriculum on what subject matter to teach but you can choose the way in which you present it to your class.  Not many times in your job can you have the type of independence like that.   As a teacher you also get to have a bit of humor in your day.  Kids will always keep you alive and entertained as your day goes by.  Teaching has many perks and many struggles.  The reason for that people choose to teach can go from convenient schedules to inspiring the youth of today.

Hi everyone! My name is Lianne and I am 24 years old.  I am a store manager for Payless Shoesource in Saugus, MA.  I have been doing this for about 5 years now.  I just bought a house with my husband, it is quite an adventure being a homeowner (the projects never end!)  We have a 13 year old orange tabby cat named Teddy and a 1 year old long haired chiuahua named Vinny.  Life for us has very eventful as in the last year we bought our house, got a puppy and got married!  In my spare time I love hanging out with my family, going to the beach and reading!  I absolutely love James Patterson novels, as I have read every single one published.  It had become much of an obsession for awhile!  Recently my husband and I joined a kickball team in the Merrimack Valley.  Neither of us have played since probably the 8th grade so it was super fun to do on Thursday nights.  Between work and working on our home we don't have much time for anything else, but it is so worth it!
